Aenean eu leo quam.
Hello, my name is Brenda Aileen Lara. I am a native of Mexico City, and I earned bachelors degrees in graphic design and photography at the University of Texas in Austin.
I currently live in Atlanta, GA, where I work at WebMD. I approach my projects with a focus on user-centered design, giving extensive attention to the needs, wants and limitations of end-users. As a designer, I believe it's important to be involved in usability testing because I can see how end-users evaluate my project's capacity to meet its intended purpose. I stay current on the latest trends and best practices by attending conferences such as An Event Apart and South by Southwest (SXSW) as well as seminars offered by networks like AWDG, Creative Mornings, Atlanta Graphic Design Collective, AIGA and IxDA. I thrive in a flexible work environment that offers challenging projects, collaboration, and professional growth.
When I am not creating user experiences online, I am strolling around the city with my camera, taking photographs of architecture, or in my kitchen cooking something vegetarian.
